All massages are tailored to individual needs and can use a combination of the following techniques:

Soft/Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a technique used to address injury or issues occurring in the deeper soft tissue and fascial layers of the muscle. Client and therapist work together to seek out and release muscular trigger points. Tight neck, shoulder and back pain are some conditions commonly addressed with deep tissue massage.

Trigger Point Therapy

Most of us will suffer from stiff, achy muscles, and numerous musculoskeletal pain conditions that are caused by "knots". Trigger point therapy uses a variety of techniques to "deactivate" these painful knots and make them disappear.

Pre/Post Natal Massage

Those months of pregnancy demand extra care of the body. Massage allows for stress and body ache reduction which can allow for better sleep, quality of life, and mental well-being. For those in need targeted deep tissue work can be blended into the full-body session. Post-natal massage helps to alleviate the body aches from birth and any mental/emotional stress that can go hand-in-hand with those first months of new motherhood. Nursing newborns are welcome to the session (they usually sleep in their car seat or on the table with mom).

Reiki

Reiki is a gentle energy healing technique in which a Reiki practitioner guides healing energy into the receiver's body in order to promote the natural flow of energy through the body and energy field. As a Traditional Reiki 2 practitioner, I incorporate Reiki into all my treatments to promote a sense a calmness and wellbeing.

Cupping

By creating suction and negative pressure, Massage Cupping Therapy is used to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue. Cupping is used upon request and is great for trigger point work to relieve spasms. Certified Ace Massage Cupping Provider.
